Coral Bloom brings together two distinct materials in a sculptural composition. Crafted in Murano, Italy, the glass body meets a tabletop made from certified oak, creating a dialogue between the translucency of glass and the natural warmth of wood.
Both elements are interchangeable, allowing different glass colours to be paired with a variety of tabletop materials and finishes. This flexibility invites individual combinations, adapting the character of the table to different spaces and personal preferences.
Conceived as a ring, the tabletop allows sunlight to pass through its centre, illuminating the glass from different angles throughout the day. Hand-blown in Murano, the three-centimetre-thick glass retains subtle irregularities that lend it a unique character. As light passes through, it is refracted into ever-changing patterns across the floor, reminiscent of sunlight shimmering on water.
Carefully proportioned, the wooden ring maintains a balanced centre of gravity, resting securely on the glass body without screws or additional fixings. This simple interplay of form and balance creates a stable connection while allowing both elements to be exchanged effortlessly.
